The Ontario Media Development Corporation (OMDC) launches “We’ve Got it Going ON” Campaign

The OMDC has just launched a brilliant international film, print and online campaign to showcase Ontario’s vibrant cultural industry. The six-week campaign showcases 80+ companies in the following creative industries: book and magazine publishing, film and television, interactive digital media, music, performing arts, radio, advertising, architecture and design.

The television ad features The Mistress of Nothing, the Governor General’s Award Winner written by Canadian author Kate Pullinger, published by McArthur & Co (based in Toronto), printed by Webcom (Toronto) and worked on by designer Tania Craan (Toronto).

Did you know

  • Ontario’s creative industries form the third-largest cluster in North America after California and New York
  • Ontario’s cultural industry is now bigger than the energy sector, and bigger than the forest and mining industries combined.
